| The Cambodian Minister of Women’s Affairs Ung Kantha Phavy has been following IWEP (Integrated Women Empowerment Project) with interest since the very beginning when the project was just a proposal developed when ADDA was still running the capacity building project on Preak Leap National School of Agriculture (1996-2004). The minister has several times wished to visit some of the self help groups working with ADDA, but she has so far always been prevented in the last minute. But this time it was meant to be. |

The minister expressed that she was a little surprised to see that the group was able to present a both human and economical improvement (the group is three years old). Following she mentioned that she would like to use some of ADDA employees to train other women not participating in the IWEP project. A very positive visit! |
