The local NGO READA organization, (Rural Economic and Agricultural Development Agency) is the new partner of ADDA-IWEP, officially approved by Danida on 28 September 2009. ADDA and READA signed an agreement of Cooperation in November 2009. ADDA and READA staffs have all ready started exchanged field visits in order to know each other well and seeking the way of cooperation for new four years in IWEP II:
READA is a most experienced and competent partner within agriculture, rooted in Siem Reap. READA process experience in FarmerFiels Scholls (FFS) and Self Helps Groups, exactly the areas IWEP II is focused on. READA will gradually carry out implementation of the project, and secure the sustainability of the project and the exit strategy after 2013, when the Danida funding terminate. Our previously partner Srer Khmer from the first phase of IWEP, has chosed to terminate the cooperation with ADDA, mainly due to the fact, that SK is established in Phnom Penh 300 kilometers away from Siem Reap and having difficulties in carrying out the exit strategy after termination of the funding from Danida.
|
Executive Director of READA, Mr. Lok Sokthea and Project Manager Bodil Pallesen, ADDA sign the common agreement of Cooperation between ADDA and READA.
ADDA also cooperate with Banteay Srei Organization, who will provide the trainings to Women leaders on Women’s leadership etc. Find more info about READA
